Joan's Family

This is my 6 month old grandson Christian. He started running a high fever this past Thursday and his health has since continued to decline. Yesterday his mother took him to the ER with a fever of 104 and severe rash all over him. They tried for hours to put in an IV and draw blood for labs but he was so severely dehydrated that they had to stick him like 15 or 16 times before getting IV in and enough blood to do labs. We were then told that they believed he has Kawasaki Disease and that he was being flown to Children's Hospital in Little Rock. We arrived here last night they can not get his fever to go down and stay down and are running all sorts of tests today. Christian has 3 siblings that are 1 1/2 years old 3 years old and 4 1/2 years old. Both parents are staying by his side which means they are missing work so any help or prayers at all would be greatly appreciated .
