This go fund me page has been set up to try to help offset the costs for Tiverton High School Students to play ice hockey this fall 2018 and beyond. Up until 3 months ago, THS students did not have an outlet or opportunity to play high school hockey. With the help of an energetic parent group, the THS Athletic Director and Superintendent, we have excitingly joined the JNP hockey club!
Because of the time frame and budget requirements, we unfortunately could not secure busing for this year. The practices are in Pawtucket and Smithfield RI at 3:00 PM weekdays making it tough for parents to drive. We have been offered a driver which we greatly appreciate but have the cost of a cargo van if we want to get all the boys there in one vehicle.
Our hope is to use the funds to offset van costs along with player dues and equipment. Any additional money received would go to the development of more hockey opportunities at Tiverton Schools.
