We are raising money to bring Mupere Lawrence & Etou Scott from their home in Uganda to train as Yoga Teachers with Jivani Yoga and attend a 5 day retreat with Mark Whitwell in Thailand. A previous crowdfunding attempt raised only $100. I have taken this on as a crazy last minute mission and with your help, we can pull it off.
The training begins on April 1st in Thailand. With just a few weeks to get everything organised, we need to raise the bulk of these funds in 10 days.
We will waive all tuition fees for the training and retreat. We are raising the following expenses for each man.
1. Visas. We need to get on this right away. $50
2. Flights from Entebbe to Koh Samui via Bangkok $1000
3. Transfers and transit accommodation $200
4. Twin share room with 3 meals per day Monday to Friday for 28 days $1250
5. Weekend meals and group outings we go on $500
6. Accommodation and food during Mark's retreat $600
Total for each yogi $3600 x 2
Total expenses $7200

Your contribution will help not only Lawrence and Scott, but their local community. Their Yoga training will be primarily in the lineage of Krishnamacharya, UG Krishnamurti, Desikachar and Mark Whitwell and they will also be trained in Compassionate Communication, Transformational Voicework and facilitating groups.
