I met Jimbo first as a customer of mine when I was a Snap-On dealer.  Fast forward 20 years later and we still consider each other “brothers from another mother”. As both our lives have changed and each of us has helped the other during trying times, now Jim needs our help. Jimbo is the nicest, friendliest man, you could run into. And as the saying goes...NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED:   Jimbo never asks for help for things he cant do himself,  and this time he is in desperate need of a new mobility scooter that can handle his size.  If you are a “CAR GUY OR GAL” you recognize Jimbo as the guy at the Lowes Cruise / Boulevard cruise is Abingdon.
As a Marine Corp veteran he has made attempts to secure one from the Va.  Unfortunately, they will not help him and these things are very expensive. Jim is the only driver in his household and must use the scooter to go to and from his vehicle to get his wife to work. His disabilities prevent him from working.   We had been able to locate used ones in the past, but most of them are too small or need to much work. If someone has a larger one to donate or sell, that will definitely be considered. For now please help my best friend afford his mobility, and lets get him a scooter he deserves.
