Jim's Journey with Cancer

Our oldest brother Jim who lives in Michigan was diagnosed with T-cell Non- Hodgkins Lymphoma this past July. His oncologists plan was for him to have 6 rounds of chemo. He's only been able to complete 3 due to awful chemo and Lymphoma side effects. Last weekend he was admitted into the hospital with a high fever, horrible headaches and confusion. This past Wednesday our sister in law was given the worst news possible - the cancer has spread to his brain. Today  he will start a new chemo that will target his brain cancer.  
Our brother is a devoted husband and father. He married his college sweetheart in 1991 and together they have 4 beautiful children who are all in college. Prior to his diagnosis he was working in the home health care industry but as his pain increased it wasn’t possible to continue. His wife is a teacher but she’s currently staying by his side in the hospital, unsure of when she can return to the classroom. 
My brother Chris and I feel helpless. We are 2,000 miles away from our brother who needs us. We thought if we started this fundraiser we could hopefully ease some of life stresses and our sister in law can focus on staying by her husband's side while he fights for his life!!
