Kate’s Medical Expenses

For the past six years we have been fighting for Kate.  The first three years we spent going to the ER on a constant basis to be told maybe it was in her head or maybe she had anxiety.  Finally we found a cardiologist in Atlanta Ga that specializes in POTS and we started Kate on medications to help. POTs or postural orthostatic tachycardia Syndromes is when the body can’t regulate your heart rate. Going from a laying down to standing position we have seen her heart rate as high as 220. We don’t drink coffee but I am told it’s like drinking 10 espressos at once.  Unfortunately she now also has gastric paresis and gastritis an ulcer, e-coli and a fungus infection all in her stomach. She is fed by a PIC line (an IV that goes to the heart) with TPN feeds and has to use a wheelchair when we go for long distance walking of any kind. She is exercising a on a recumbent bike and lifting weights in bed to try and help with her mobility.  Our medical bills are out of this world and we need help.  Anything you are willing to donate will go towards her medical expenses only.
