Study abroad in Ireland

Hi, my name is Sade Walker and I am the first one in my family to go to college. I am a junior at Ball State university. I am the oldest child and I am paving the way for my siblings, by leading by example. I have worked hard my entire life to get the best education available. I have strived hard to be more then the average stereotype, and prove to myself as well as others, that you can become more then a statistical circumstance. I decree that I will succeed by any means necessary.
I am asking for your help in achieving my goals. I am trying to go study abroad in Ireland this March, 2017.

Program Description:
This program will serve as an introduction to the analysis of historical and current theories of leadership through a cultural context, ethics, and methods of inquiry as they pertain to the process and study of leadership. Students will participate in six pre-departure class meetings, a weeklong Ireland component, and one post-program meeting.

While in Ireland, students will participate in guest lectures and meetings with Irish students, faculty, and administrators from the NUI Maynooth in order to learn about leadership from a different cultural perspective. Students will also have the chance to participate in a program of social and cultural activities, such as a tour of Glasnevin Cemetery; a walking tour of Trinity College and entrance to the Book of Kells; a visit to St Patrick’s Cathedral, and a visit to Dublin Castle.
