Jewish Burial for Jerry Kaplan

To Our Dear Friends Who Knew and Loved Jerry " Java " Kaplan...

After many heartbreaking, unfair and agonizing years, the last few of which were spent, failing with the ravages of Late Stage Alzheimer's Disease, our friend is close to passing on. 
Jerry's wonderful family, good working people and observant Jews, wish to bury their friend and dad with a formal Jewish service. 
This is a fitting, final goodbye to a guy who brought joy and laughter to all. Each, in our own way, loved him as he loved us. 
The entire process of Funeral, Interment etc. is quite expensive and beyond what the family can manage. 
Against their initial inclinations, I urged them to launch a Go Fund Me page...to help them out, to send Java off with honor and dignity and to allow us to participate in his final goodbye in a concrete and meaningful way.

So please, if you have the means, donate to help support Jerry and his family to the best extent that you can. I know they would be eternally grateful.
