Update 2!
I finally got my first appointment date (about two and a half years since referral)! So that's exciting!

Financially things are still rough, income isn't exactly steady/stable so any donations are warmly appreciated. Thank you so much for all your support!

Update: It's been over 2 years and I still haven't had my first appointment yet. It seems to be taking a very long time. I've been struggling a lot financially with my part time job not really covering my bills recently. I'd really appreciate every little bit that you can help with x

A little about me first, I'm 34 years old and I live in Leicestershire with my partner. I am transgender (male to female) and currently awaiting my first appointment with the gender clinic so I can hopefully get the appropriate medical support I need to transition.

I've been informed that it's going to be 18+ months before I get to have an appointment - that's looking like a really long time where I am at the moment.

So, why am I on Go Fund Me? Well, I want to do what I can to prepare myself for the moment I go full time as Jessica. Primarily, what that would involve is slimming down, voice training and laser hair removal.

Of course, laser hair removal in particular is very costly, and out of my current means. But given I've got 18 months it seems like a good idea to use that time productively!

If you donate to my Go Fund Me campaign, you'll be helping me save towards laser hair removal (initially my facial hair area but hopefully I can do other areas in time), help me expand my wardrobe of female clothing (I currently have rather little, sadly), and maybe look into voice training.
