I am a WARRIOR ~ 4 TIME CANCER SURVIVOR.  *Currently fighting CANCER FOR THE - 5TH AND 6TH TIME!!!!!! I am a Wife, a Mom, a Grandma, a SURVIVOR!  I love life and am blessed with an incredible husband, terrific (5)sons, a supportive family, the best friends, a wonderful neighborhood filled with fantastic neighbors and a desire to live to a very old age.  :) My diagnosis:   1.  1988 to 1990 ~ Non-Hodgkins Lymphoblastic  Lymphoma (Tx:  Surgery, Chemotherapy, Brain Radiation, Spinal taps with Chemo Injected to replace fluid) 2.  2010 ~ Endometrial Stromal Sarcoma (Tx:  2 surgeries and months of radiation to the pelvic region) 3.  2011 - 2012 ~ Breast Cancer - Stage I  (Tx:  Bilateral mastectomy followed by months of chemotherapy and breast reconstruction) 4.  2014 ~ Metastatic Breast Cancer (Tx: Biopsy/removal of tumor, months of radiation) * CURRENTLY*   5.  2016 - CURRENTLY ~ Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer ~ 11/2016 Cancer was in Bone, Lungs, Liver and Lymphnodes.  (Tx:  6 surgeries, chemotherapy 1x per wk for 8 months, VEGAN DIET, natural oils, natural supplements, and PRAYER) 6.   JULY 27, 2017 ~ BRAIN TUMORS DETECTED experienced a seizure...ambulance ride to Fairview Southdale, 5 scans later,  6 brain tumors.  July 29th - Neurosurgeon removed the 2 largest tumors.  4 tumors and 33 staples remained.  Home on July 31, 2017.  Followed by 6 wks of healing and multiple DR. appts. and planning scans.   Stereotactic Cyber-Knife Radiation was completed in September.  Need to wait until Mid-November for brain scan to see how well I responded to radiation.   Last week a PET scan performed to determine what changes ocurred during the  2 month break  from chemotherapy (while focusing on the brain tumors and radiation)... MY RESULTS ARE BETTER THAN MY DR. EVER IMAGINED!!!!!!!!!!!!!  SHE SMILED AND SAID,  "YOU ARE A CAT...YOU HAVE 9 LIVES!!!!!!!"  :)  :)  :) I am on a "DR/medically" approved 2 month break from chemotherapy!  Even during the months of Aug. and Sept. there had been a "decrease" in tumor size; noting improvements.  The current report stated:  I need to monitor these areas:  left iliac lymph node chain and also the left lateral pelvis...they have improved from previous PET CT scan...however they demonstrate a moderate to high metabolic activity.   All other areas of previously noted metastatic disease have resolved and are consistent with a good response to treatment.    There is no evidence of other areas of tumor involvement from chin to mid thighs!!!!!!!YEAH!!!!!!! ****THANK YOU ALL FOR THE PRAYERS, THE EMOTIONAL AND FINANCIAL SUPPORT AND THE LOVE YOU HAVE SHOWN MY FAMILY... ALL OF THESE GIFTS HAVE HELPED US SIGNIFICANTLY!!!!!!  PLEASE KEEP THE PRAYERS COMING THEY ARE BEING ANSWERED...GOD TRULY DESERVE THE GLORY.  I AM BLESSED.   Will have a brain scan in Mid-November and another PET scan in late December.  My life is never dull.  Thank you all for your friendship and support.  Love and HUGS ~ Jessie August 4th, 2019 ~ MY LATEST UPDATE ~ It has been a challenging 2 1/2 years! I'm not exaggerating when I tell you I was in the hospital at least six times since then if not closer to 8. I've been seen by Mayo Clinic in Rochester at least 30 to 40 visits. With various specialist including Breast cancer Oncologists, brain Neurologists, Radiation specialists and a lot of Imaging specialists that perform tests including lumbar to get the spinal fluid to test, I had a two solid hour spinal MRI where you couldn't move a finger that was very difficult. My sacral area became extremely sore and the last half-hour was difficult but we made it and it showed extremely comforting results it could have been really bad. They were worried about the lining of my brain and what was happening in the spinal fluid was extremely challenging and worrisome however the results came back better than expected!!! So we're no longer worried about that area and we're receiving chemotherapy two weeks on one time a week then one week off. We will be receiving that's cycle of treatment for 6 to 9 more weeks and then we will be getting a another brain MRI to see if the chemotherapy is helping. I have no doubt it's helping so keep sending prayers our way happy thoughts whatever you believe is what I will take in whether you want to do a rain dance for me or light a candle or say a prayer I will take it! Our family is extremely blessed by all of your families out there and we thank you for sending pleasant thoughts our way, positive energy our way Etc thank you oh, thank you, thank you!
