UPDATE-

I am very heartbroken to announce that our dear Jessie has passed due to the stroke she had on Thursday.
We are currently working on a fundraiser dinner to be held at the Moose Lodge in Windsor. (Date to be confirmed today)

Dan is now faced with raising 2 very young children without the love of his life. Jordan and Jack have lost their beautiful mother. Her kids were her world. And chicken nuggets of course ;)

Please consider donating what you can, we appreciate all of the donations to date and the outpouring of support from every single person who has reached out to us.

Much love.

I've been receiving an overwhelming amount of messages of love and support from all of you and for that I can't express how grateful we are. I'll just give an update on here for anyone who isn't aware of the situation. Jess was having a migraine headache weds night and we didn't really think anything of it because I had a pretty bad headache the night before. We both assumed that it was related. Thursday morning she woke up with the same headache but was still very active on her phone, taking pics of the kids and talking with her mom. Around 11:30 She had seemed to stop pretty abruptly. I assumed that she wad napping or something and didn't think much of it. I got home around 3:40 to find her and the baby on the floor. She was awake but unable to move or speak and looked very confused. I immediately called an ambulance and after I got the kids changed and dropped off at a friends house I was right behind them on the way to the hospital. Tests showed that she has suffered from a massive stroke and the doctors were unable to do anything to help because the clot is in a large artery off the heart feeding her brain. So we are now in the ICU at hotel Dieu and waiting to see if any of her symptoms get better. She's still unable to speak or move the right side of her body and is having a very hard time staying awake. We greatly appreciated all the thoughts and prayers and love you all so much for the support. I'll let everyone know if anything changes as we know more.
