My wife went in for surgery for what was thought to be an inverted papaloma  . The doctor biopsied it before hand and it came back benign for cancer. 
  After the surgery my wife developed an infection  in her sinus cavity and upon going back to the doctor learned that the tumor that was the size of a clementine orange was a malignant tumor.  The tumor was diagnosed as a very rare form of cancer known as Byphenotypic Sinonasal Sarcoma.  She is currently fighting an infection.  The doctor stated she is going to need radiation as soon as it heals.  During all this the insurance we had dropped us and now we are facing numerous Bill's from the surgery cost of $27,000 plus the doctors bill of $12,000 . She found a specialist through a cancer group that she has joined to keep herself informed and more aware of how to deal with her situation since it is other people who have a cancer that deals with the head part of the body.  We will be incurring travel expenses to Philadelphia and other numerous Bill's that will not be paid because we no longer have insurance.
