It's 'Judgment day'! That's the title of Jessey Jackson's 2017 album to be... if she can raise the funds!! But that's not all that this campaign is about! (If you are unfamiliar with Jessey's music please visit www.jesseyjackson.com !)
For over 4 years Jessey has dedicated herself to studying sound production at Geelong's Oxygen College in order to facilitate her dream of not only recording, mixing and mastering her own albums, but also recording and producing the music of other emerging artists (at a reduced fee) who are also otherwise unable to afford studio time, a mix engineer or a mastering engineer!
Jessey has also spent the past 2 years performing all over regional Victoria, saving as much money as possible from her gigs to turn her home studio into professional grade recording space in order to facilitate this dream. However music equipment does NOT come cheap, and whilst a new recording desk, vocal mic and some paint are a damn good start, more is needed in order to complete the project!
By donating money to this crowd fund, you will not only help Jessey to purchase the equipment she needs to complete her third studio album in her up and coming 'Guitar Gypsy Studio', you will also ensure that the equipment is of a professional standard and can be used to make other emerging artist's dreams come true!! So where others may ask you to fund the making of only one album, Jessey is asking for help to fund an unlimited amount of albums! As The old saying goes give a man a fish and you feed him for a night, teach a man to fish and you will feed him for a lifetime!! (We are asking for the fishing rod... not the fish lol)
On a side note... In September 2016 Jessey Lost her Dad 'Bob' after a 10 month battle with terminal lung cancer. Bob was one of the two drummers on Jessey's 2015 release 'Carousel' and before he passed, he and Jessey spent a very special 2 days at Oxygen College recording 4 drum tracks for a new album that sadly due to Bob's illness, never eventuated. Those tracks are now set to be included in the 'Judgement Day' project making this project for Jessey intensly personal...
Everything from house concerts, to signed albums will be on offer depending on the level of donation! Not to mention a humble thank you for your kindness! Even the smallest of donations is welcome & will receive some token of appreciation!
* A detailed list of equipment & services estimated to complete the project, along with RRP's are included in the bottom of this description. You may notice that the list well surpasses the goal amount, we are not greedy! We just need a helping hand! All donated gear will receive rewards to the equivilent $$ amount!
*House concerts will be resticted to Victoria only and within a 100km radius of Geelong unless donator wishes to pay further travel costs
* House concert bookings can be weeknights as well as weekends but will need to be booked around existing commitments, this will need to be arranged BEFORE donation to ensure Jessey's availability, please contact Jessey at the following link to negotiate a date http://www.jesseyjackson.com/contact
* House concerts can consist of a simple amplified acoustic set up or full one woman band set up depending on your needs with regard to noise & space requirements. Please specify this when booking
* Photos of Jessey and guests taken at house concerts will be poloroid in nature and will contain a personal message where possible
* Please include your postal address upon donation!
* All 'Judgment Day' Albums rewarded through the donation levels will be sent for free via Aus Post to your door along with additional albums & merch on the day of the pre-sale release or can be collected at the album launch
* All albums will be signed and will also include a personal message
* Discount vouchers will be sent via Aus Post within 2 business days of donation. These DO NOT have an expiry date and can be submitted either by photo proof sent via email or via www.jesseyjackson.com or of course in person at a gig!
