The Jesse and Micah Anderson Family

Jesse Anderson and his 4 year old son Micah, along with other family members were kayaking on Saturday, May 19, 2018.  Jesse and Micah's kayak capsized and in trying to save Micah, Jesse drown.  Micah was discovered by the search helicopter from the air because of his little blue life vest.  When they reached him they did CPR, discovered a slight heart beat and air lifted him to the U of Minnesota Children's hospital.  After a day and a half in the ICU there, his family said "see you later" and sent him to be with Jesus and his daddy.  Jesse and Micah have left a huge hole in our community, but more importantly, they have left a wife and momma, Rita, and 5 other brothers and sisters.  Their unshakable faith in Jesus is holding them together, but we would love for you to help support them through this heartbreak, too.  For local people, there are accounts set up at both banks in Northwood, IA.  For those of you who would be so generous to help meet the needs of Rita and the rest of the kids, this Go Fund Me page gives you that opportunity.  The family will be thankful for your gifts, and even more so for your prayers!
