In Loving Memory of Jerome Gacula

Donation protected
Jerome Enrique Sagun Gacula passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at the age of 40. He is survived by his loving wife of eight years, Suzanne Gravolet Gacula and his mother-in-law, Mary Maier Gravolet; his parents, Jerome "Jim" and Linda Gacula; siblings, Jerlynn Ordaz (Edward), Malinda Gacula, and Joseph Gacula; niece, Isis Ordaz; extended family, friends, and all of his "chirren" at Metairie Park Country Day School. Jerome was born in Quezon City, Philippines, moved to San Francisco, California with his family in 1983, and later moved to New Orleans, Louisiana in 2008 after meeting Suzanne. They were married on Halloween in 2010 at the Musee Conti Wax Museum in the French Quarter. Jerome was a chef at Metairie Park Country Day School for the last 10 years and an extremely talented photographer / artist. His passions were entertaining his family and friends, cooking, photography, art, music, vaping, making hilarious video clips, and caring for his fur-babies: Lou Lou The Loupgarou, Marzipan The Creepy-Pan, Monty-Kat The Explorer, Meekah Lucy-Purr, Morrissa Von Cuddlekins, and the late sweet Jillybean. He was and always will be larger than life itself.

It is unfortunte that we have lost such a big ball of sunshine. Most would say he shined brighter then the sun itself. That laugh. That smile. Those jokes. He will be missed tremendously.

If anyone would kindly like to help Suzanne, we are taking donations/gifts to help her get back on her feet. Anything helps & we would like to thank everyone for being so supportive and loving in her time of need. She’s stronger then most! We love you Jerome & Suzanne!!
