Jeremy's Chest Surgery

Jeremy has been diagnosed with a condition called pectus excavatum (he says its a Harry Potter spell). His case is more severe than most. He is at about half lung capacity and his heart is confined under pressure. His recent growth spurt has compounded the problem, and he's still growing. Because of his age, he needs surgery, or a miracle ASAP. We were aware of the condition when he was younger, but it wasn't considered a threat until recently, as he's grown over 6 inches in the last year. Now he is in a window where the surgery can be done safely and he can heal relatively easily. If we wait, we are told, it will get worse and much more difficult to treat, not to mention he can't risk anymore pressure on his heart. Cost for the surgery was quoted at anywhere from 30-60k, depending on complications and how extensive the actual surgery is. If you are in a position, your financial help would be forever appreciated. If you can't afford it, your prayers are more than enough. We are doing as much as we can to raise funds on our end, selling things, etc.
