Support for Jeremy Mein’s Recovery

Donation protected
On August 21, 2016, Jeremy fell out of the back of a truck, head first, and suffered severe internal injury.  He was immediately transferred to UMC by ambulance, where it was found that Jeremy sustained a skull fracture and impact to his brain.  He underwent emergency surgery to stop the bleeding in his brain, remove pressure and alleviate possible brain damage.  He is still in ICU and expected to be there for a little while.

Jeremy is in stable condition, however, the extent of his injuries is still unknown.  Jeremy’s recovery will take weeks and likely months.  He was still on his probationary period at his new job, and does not have any health insurance or paid time off.  His family would like to raise funds to help pay debts, and cover expenses Jeremy will undoubtedly incur during his recovery.

We kindly ask everyone for their thoughts and prayers during this time for Jeremy and the family.  God has been diligent in answering our prayers and watching over him.  He is in the best care and we are extremely grateful for the staff and treatment he’s received at UMC.

We graciously thank you for any contribution you are able to make.

Philippians 4:6,7 … do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Given Jeremy's incapacitated state, Justin Mein, the oldest brother is the beneficiary for this campaign and manager of the memorial account established for Jeremy at Wells Fargo Bank.
