Jeremy Pepper

On June 10th Jeremy had  an MRI completed due to ongoing pain and pressure in his head. Unfortunately his results revealed a very large tumor in his brain. Avera reviewed his records and referred him to Mayo.  On June 15th he met with a couple different teams at Mayo. He was denied by the first team. Thankfully Dr Michael Link and his team have agreed to take his case. They are suspecting the mass is a meningioma, possibly a schwannoma. There is no certainty until it’s been removed. On Aug 5th he will get a CT scan to look for calcification within the tumor. On the 6th they place a drain in his head due to hydrocephalus. On the 7th he will Undergo a 10 hour surgery to have this mass removed.  This is a very risky procedure and with the size of the tumor there is potential for setbacks. Jeremy has a long road ahead of him with many unknowns. If all goes well, his recovery is anticipated to be three months. I know donating is not in everyone’s budget so prayers will do!
