Jenee and her Baby

Genesee (Jenee for short), which is Iraquois for beautiful, is an unhandled mare from a reservation.  She is of domesticated stock, but hasn't been handled.  She is pregnant.  Grass and water were scarce this past summer, and these horses (including Jenee) were rounded up, sent to feedlots, and those who are not adopted are sent to slaughter in Canada or Mexico.  Even pregnant mares like Jenee.  But Jenee has been rescued!  Costs for her quarantine boarding, transport, vet care, and feed bill is substantial, and Rocky's Rescue is asking for your help to save this Mom and her baby!  Please donate today!  100% of your donation is used directly for Jenee and her baby, and all donations are tax deductible.  Rocky's Rescue cannot save animals without your help, and we appreicate all of you for helping us save Jenee and her unborn foal.
