Let's Help a Friend Beat Cancer!

As most of you know, our friend Jennifer Defreyne was diagnosed with glioblastoma (brain cancer) in July, 2018.  Over the last 9 months Jen has battled this disease with so much courage and has been relentless in her efforts to beat brain cancer.  Radiation, multiple rounds of chemotherapy, diet changes, all in an effort to get healthy.
Over the last few months, Jen has completed significant research on various treatments to assist her efforts to beat this disease.  She has decided, in addition to continued chemotherapy, to explore alternative advanced medical treatments and specifically stem cell treatments.  She is currently working with a doctor from Prague, Czech Republic and is required to travel to Vancouver for treatments.  As this is a fee for service medical alternative, there is a significant financial burden tied to these treatments, costing tens of thousands of dollars. 

Additionally, due to Jen's illness, she has not been able to work since her diagnosis last July, so our support would really help ease the added financial strain.
