Hello,
I've recently been diagnosed with cancer, gyne and liver, and have a long road of treatment ahead of me at 35 years old. I have begun chemotherapy and may need a couple of surgeries. I need constant daily care for myself and for my son Ryder who is 1 years old. I am receiving both alternative and conventional treatments and am seeking to fund further treatment in medically advanced clinics internationally. I am now in financial hardship as it is unknown how long it will take till I can return to work.
My family and my self have long worked with and supported many less fortunate youth in our own home, and prior to this health challenge I worked as a Support Teacher coordinating a specialized education program at Thomas Haney Secondary serving students with profound developmental disabilities. Concurrently, I also waitressed part time at the Blacksheep pub. I have always given love, encouragment, support, been kind and positive and I hope you have felt this in our exchanges. I go out of my way to brighten the lives of others, to smile and make others feel recognized and appreciated.
At first faced with this situation, I felt scared and feared for my life; Is this it? Am I dying? Do I not get the privledge of raising my son? But now I am doing the work on every level, physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually and I am getting better. My mantra: "I got this!" I am doing everything in my power to heal myself and I will overcome this. I absolutly believe my life will transform for the betterment of me, my son, my family and all those whom I get to share this earth planet with. I love you all so very much.
I have spent my life helping others, as a foster sister and teacher and now I need help myself.
Your generosity and support is so greatly appreciated. I will be using any and all donations to fund treatment expenses as I go forward on my wellness journey.
