Jenica's Service Dog
Donation protected
Jenica has been accepted into the service dog program with Midwest Assistance Dogs in South Bend, Indiana. Jenica has Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 2, a genetic disease that over time weakens the muscles in her body more and more. She is dependent on others to take care of her. This doesn't stop her though. She is an honor student and active in Girl Scouts. A service dog will provide Jenica with more independence. It will be able to open and close doors and drawers for her, carry a small purse or lunch box, pick things up that she drops, be her faithful companion, and more.
