Jeni's Fight against Breast Cancer

My name is Lauren and I have had the pleasure of calling Jeni Paz-Rodriguez my best friend since high school ten years ago. She has been there for me without complaint and always ready for advice with any issue. I want to help her through this very difficult time she is going through and will continue to go through as she fights breast cancer as I know she would if it was the other way around.
Jeni was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer after having a partial hip replacement in March where she also had a mass taken off her hip. I have no doubt in my mind that Jeni will beat breast cancer especially with her positive outlook and attitude about the diagnosis and treatments.
She will begin her chemotherapy treatment and radiation on her hip for precaution at the end of April. During the months ahead, Jeni will have many trips to have chemo treatment, radiation, physical therapy for her hip, and will be taking a variety of medications over this time.
I’m reaching out to family, friends, co-workers, and anyone else that has had the pleasure of knowing Jeni. At the age of twenty-seven Jeni is just starting her life with her fiancé Angel and the expenses that come with fighting cancer is something no one should have to worry about especially at such a young age. I know Jeni and her close loved ones will appreciate any way you can help to alleviate the stress that cancer can bring.
