Jet Lagged Jeff and the Visa Appeal

£2,530 of £3,000 goal

Raised by 94 people in 3 months
I've lived in the UK since 2003, having moved here after a stint teaching English in Japan.  I never intended on staying so long, but since then I've made England my home.  I've lived and worked in Milton Keynes for the past 16 years on an ancestor visa as my grandfather is from Kent.    I would like to extend my current visa, or apply for 'indefinite leave to remain' and as such am attempting to raise the funds to do so.  Either category that I apply for comes with a price-tag of £3000 to apply (including a 'health premium' surcharge), hence the appeal for your help.  Thanks for taking the time to support my attempt to 'remain' in the UK.  If successful it means that I can continue to honour the commitments and friendships that I've formed here without having to decamp back to Canada and live in my sister's basement...not a good look for 42.  All the best my friends, hope to still be about to see you in a few months time.

Jeff.
