Update! Jeff was released from the hospital on 11/23. He will now be on blood thinners to help prevent any clotting. He will remain on his life vest until his heart is stronger. No date in mind for when he can return to work it will depend on his strength and recovery. He has a very long road ahead of him with great doctors and family to support him!
Jeff was admitted into the hospital on Thursday 11/15/18 with congestive heart failure at 36 years old. His heart is functioning at 10% or less. His great team of doctors has assured him that his body is strong and his heart will gain strength with medicine and rest. He was sent home from the hospital with a very expensive life vest that will shock his heart if he goes into cardiac arrest.
On Monday 11/19/18 he had a set back and was admitted back into the hospital with a blood clot in his lung and has been diagnosed with phenomena.
Jeff recently made a career change and went back to a previous employer. However during this time of transition his family paid for COBRA to cover health needs. Cobra is stating that this is a pre-existing condition and therefore will not cover the ER visit, two hospital stays, life vest and various testing of his heart. On top of that he has no short term or long term disability during this time. Therefore the medical bills are becoming a mountain while no income is coming in. He has a long road of recovery and do not at this time know how long he will be out of work.
Please help the Krull's! They are an amazing family with a heart of gold. Stand up people who put their best foot forward in life. Jeff his wife Jodie and his daughter Savannah will make it through stronger however any help you can give to help with medical bills, housing bills and even food will relieve some finiacial stress and be appreciated more than you will know.
