Jeff D. Benevolent Campaign

Jeff DiLavore, owner of the FD Rant News recently ran into hard times due to a medical condition and other family matters.  Those of you who have known Jeff know that he has always been the first one to set up to help a Brother or Sister firefighter in need through donations and/or promotions run in the paper at little to no charge. He has always believed in the Brotherhood of the volunteer fire service and has done whatever he could to help others.  Well now he is the one in need.

Jeff has been seeking help for his medical problems as well as other problems for the last several weeks.  As a result, his finances have been depleted.  Insurance has only covered about 60% of the bills.  Due to his illness and other personal family matters, production on the FD Rant News has been temporarily suspended.

We are asking everyone in the Long Island Fire Service to try to help Jeff get through these difficult times by donating what you can.
