My name is Anne San and I never thought I would need to ever write a letter like this.

In January 2018 my wonderful daughter Jeannette was diagnosed with an aggressive breast cancer (HER2 +ER positive)

Our life as we knew it changed from that moment on.

She has endured gruelling and painful treatments over the last 12 months.

Jeanette’s positivity ,strength and determination to beat this has been second to none.

Following all this she was then told she was clear of the cancer but would have to continue with chemotherapy and very strong medication to keep the cancer away.

However our period of happiness was short lived when in January 2019 she was told her cancer had spread.

As you can only imagine we were devastated about the news and what the future holds for my gorgeous girl.

Jeannette has a loving husband Tommy and two beautiful  girls Heidi 7yrs and Esmae aged  3 years.

The girls are only aware that mummy is continuing with her treatments. and Jeannette and Tommy want the girls to continue as much as possible in their normal happy way.

We would be grateful that any discussions between people does not include the girls or any other children present.

Throughout this cancer “journey” we, as a family, have never been more proud of Jeannette for her courage , selflessness and her ability to not only deal with her own diagnosis and carry on with normal day to day stuff but also her willingness to help and meet other young women who have been faced with a new diagnosis of breast cancer .

We have now embarked on a crusade to give her the best possible chance by continuing with NHS treatments as well as private alternative therapies not yet available on the NHS. These treatments will cost approximately £2850 per month.

At present our family are funding the treatments because we believe we can still beat this disease.

There is no price on Jen’s life and we will do anything and everything for her but as you can see the costs are considerable as day to day normal living costs still have to be met.

We need your help as much as possible to continue to fight this disease for my daughter her husband and her gorgeous girls.

Any contributions to help Jeannette and her family will be greatly appreciated and all of the donations will go towards funding her treatments to give her the best opportunity to beat this horrendous disease.

Thank you so much for reading and contributing in any way you can.

Hi there to all our family friends that we know ...and a big Hi to all those people who I don’t know ...who have donated or contributed in someway to Jeannette’s treatment fund since we started this in February.

I continue to be humbled andvery very thankful to everyone’s time and generosity , it’s only when you find yourself in this horrendous situation that you realise that all the things you take for granted like health and happiness can be stopped in an instant and a new way of life is forced upon you .

Thankfully our beautiful Jen and her rock of a husband Tommy have continued to get on with all of her treatments and she is doing well , everyday they try and give themselves and the girls as normal a family life as possible.

I am so unbelievably proud of the way that my daughter Jen has dealt with this and continues to do so. As a mum you always want to let no harm come to your child and it is certainly doesn’t get any easier when they face the most awful situations no matter how old they are. She just on with it and never complains . She’s my hero.

We are as a family surrounded by love and positivity from everyone and this without question helps Jen and Tommy their girls and us all get through this.

Fundraising events for her treatments are continuing and I thank you from the bottom of my heart please believe me when I say every penny raised is so appreciated no matter how big or small in our efforts to keep Jen well.

Love , strength and positivity ❤️❤️❤️

Hi everyone
Can I firstly give a Massive THANK YOU to everyone who has donated and supported Jeannette’s Fighting Fund.
I have not been able to thank individuals or post an update until now as I’m still learning ...more like fumbling ...my way around the Go Fund Me site. (Anyone who knows me understands my impatience with websites computers etc !)
Anyway update so far we have raised over a magnificent £13,000 and a number of people have also contacted me to let me know of individual fundraising events.
As a family we are overwhelmed by people’s generosity and kindness it is truly humbling when we see how much our Jeannette means to people.
She continues to amaze and make us so proud of her everyday with her “cmon let’s just do it attitude “ .
She is having her conventional medical treatments and now having additional treatments including weekly iv vitamin infusions , oxygen therapies etc as well as sticking to a strict alkaline vegan diet supplemented with other vitamins.
All this.... and still looking after her girls , Tommy and working !
Told you she is amazing ...!
Thanks again for all your support and please please keep sharing Jeannette’s Fighting Fund on the Go Fund Me page
Will do another update in a couple of weeks
Love and Positivity
Anne xx
