Summer Festival Fundraiser

My name is Stephanie Andrews, and I'm a composer residing in Austin, Texas. I'm delighted to share the exciting news that I have been accepted as a composer participant for two music festivals this summer: the PREMIERE|Project Festival in California (June 11-14) and the Space City New Music Festival in Houston (July 8-14)! Along with the excitement and anticipation comes a number of expenses: participant fees ($285 for PPF, $1350 for SCNMF), travel expenses (around $500 for both festivals), lodging (paid for at PPF through a scholarship, around $400 at SCNMF), and food ($300 -400). That's a total of over $2,800; however, I am setting a more modest goal of $1000 with a deadline of June 7, 2019. As an independent composer with no academic affiliation, I can expect no reimbursement for my expenses. Attending these festivals is highly important to my education and development as a composer; donations in any amount would be greatly appreciated.
