Yuma Romine Vet Bills
Donation protected
Something terrible happened on Saturday, November 14th. As you know, Joe Romine is one of GCGA-Gainesville's most steadfast and devoted volunteers. He heads up our monthly Tioga Starbucks meet and greet, has fostered countless hounds for our group, and is known for his huge greyhound parties thrown by he and his wife, Minji. Last Saturday, Yuma, one of Joe's personal hounds, was attacked by Joe's current foster. Yuma suffered severe injuries and had to be rushed to the emergency vet, where he underwent surgery today for his extensive injuries. (The kennel that the foster hound came from has asked that we return him to them, and he was in fact returned to them on 11/17/15). In the meantime, Yuma will have some very large vet bills that we, as a group, would like to help Joe offset. Joe has NOT asked for help but as his friends, we would like to help him because his hound was injured through no fault of his own. If you have enjoyed going to one of Joe's and Minji's greyhound parties, have attended a meet and greet event, or have even adopted a hound that was fostered by Joe and Minji, you know how special the Romines are to us. Any donation would be a huge help and would be very much appreciated. Thank you very much for your consideration.
