NEW Uniforms - JBHS Marching Band

Why do so many talented young people give their all for high school marching band? There are no superstar recording contracts for high school band students, no Olympic medals, and no spots on American Idol. These students know, however, that if they are looking for a family at school, an environment of acceptance and support, where they will be challenged daily to reach their personal potential, the Jensen Beach High School (JBHS) Band program is the place to be!

Students are drawn to the JBHS Band for many reasons. They love performing in front of enthusiastic audiences. They love the camaraderie, discipline and sense of achievement that play such an important role in building character. They love the feeling of PRIDE that comes from the teamwork that Director Thomas Dougherty instills in the Falcon Band!

It already costs over $1000 per student per year to provide this award-winning program at JBHS, which families pay for through assessment fees, and participation in multiple fundraisers.  We now find ourselves facing the gargantuan hurdle of replacing the uniforms that have served us since the school first opened in August 2004. This is why we are asking for your help.

If you would like a letter from the school district acknowledging your tax-exempt contribution,  PRINT THIS LETTER and mail in a check directly to the address on it.
(The uniform campaign will receive 100% of your contribution if you send in a check versus the 92% that goes through here.) No contribution is too small!
