My name is Jesse.
What you are about to read is about my longest struggle and I’m asking for your help and support.
This fundraiser is dedicated to my top surgery. Top surgery, if you don’t already know, is a medical procedure in which breast tissue is removed and, in some cases, reconstructed to appear more masculine. This procedure has been proven to help individuals suffering from gender dysphoria, like myself, to overcome the mental struggle and become more socially comfortable.
I have struggled for years, living inside of a body that does not reflect who I truly am, but that ends now. By August 9th, 2018, my 25th birthday, I will be paying my $500 deposit to secure my surgery date, which I am hoping to set for early 2019. The money raised here will go directly towards the cost of the surgery itself as well as the other expenses of medications and post-surgery care. Every donation, no matter how big or small, brings me that much closer to a body I can feel comfortable in and I greatly appreciate any support you are able to contribute.
