Jay Purdy's Medical Bills

As many of you may know, Jay Purdy has had a rough patch of medical issues with no definite diagnosis yet. Jay and his family are facing unbelievable medical expenses after several procedures, biopsies, and appointments to figure out why his lungs aren't functioning properly and he is struggling to breathe.
Currently Jay hasn't been able to work for over 6 weeks now due to his lung condition and risk of infection. He has undergone numerous exploratory surgeries and biopsies to figure out what is causing his lungs to scar and fill with fluid. He and his fiancé have spent a ton of uncomfortable nights in hospitals, away from their kids, to drain the blood and fluid that has restricted his ability to breathe. Surgeons and doctors have removed roughly 3 liters of the blood and fluid from his body. During this last round of surgery, doctors removed large sections of scar tissue and 6 inches of his ribs to allow his lungs to expand.
Jay is a proud father of 2 girls. His fiancé, Aimee, a part-time piercer, has been doing everything she can to try and make ends meet. She's been scrambling to chip away at these unexpected bills that are piling up, take care of their kids, school and Jay.
This man is one hell of a friend, father and individual. He would give the shirt off his back to a complete stranger if they asked. I am beyond grateful to have the pleasure of knowing him and calling him a friend. He has taught me a lot and helped me out a number of times during our friendship. I am starting this page, to try and return the favor.
