Jayden was in an accident at the end of October and has been hospitalized since.  Michelle has been by his side every step of the way.   There have been ups and downs, but every day he seems to be a bit stronger.  They are hoping for a move to Wascana in the next week or so.

As they focus on recovery and on each other, let’s help ease the burden and the worry that will come with paying bills, travel expenses and all of the costs that may come their way.

Every little bit helps them in this incredibly difficult time.

Written By Michelle Bouvier:

Hi everyone ! Jayden was in a dirt bike accident oct.28. He was brought to weyburn by ambulance and then to Regina by stars . He fractured his C6, shattered his jaw, broke and damaged multiple teeth , tore his nerves from his next to his left shoulder - resulting in no movement or feeling . He had a blood clot on his neck , and he tore open his upper thigh muscle . He since had his thigh repaired and it healed up nice . He currently has his jaw wired shut and they estimated 6-8 weeks , the plan is to have that removed on the 27 of this month ! He had numerous complications since his accident , he had a ventilator for a few weeks and then his jaw was wired but then his lung collapsed so he had to get the wires cut off and then put back in when he was stable enough , but since he was such a high risk of respiratory failure he also got a trach when he got wired the second time . He had a feeding tube in up until the 29 of November and that same day he also got his trach taken out . He now is on a liquid diet only . His blood clot is gone , and even though the doctors told us he would never be able to move his left hand or feel anything again , he now has begun to prove them wrong ! He can wiggle his fingers and slightly move his wrist . He can’t feel it , yet , but we’re believing he will be able to ! He is going to get a nerve conduction test sometime soon to see what nerves are trying to fire up again and from there we will see if he is eligible to go to Calgary to have surgery to repair his nerves so he can have his arm fully restored . He is now in wascana since last Friday for rehab . He is doing amazingly well . He is learning how to become more independent and he can now put his own shirt on with his one arm . Words cannot express how grateful we are to have you praying for him as well as the donations you have made to help make everything a bit more manageable. Thank you for all your support and love . It truly means the world ❤️
