Let's Help Jason Get Back on His Feet

On Saturday night our dear friend Jason was hit by a car while crossing the street. They think the driver was having a seizure when he crossed over to the other side of 23rd St and careened into the crosswalk, striking several pedestrians including Jason.

He was rushed to the hospital, and had no idea what happened or how he got there. Due to the impact, he has suffered a traumatic brain injury, a fractured skull, and a fracture in one of his lower vertebrae.
Given these diagnoses the road recovery is sure to be long one. 


We assume that he will be unable to work for some time, and he will need rehab and lots of physical therapy to get back on his feet. With a lengthy road to recovery ahead, he will certainly need all the help he can get- help paying for rent, bills, transportation to doctors appointments, and basic needs like food and care for his cat Boo. Not to mention after an ambulance ride, numerous CT scans, X- rays, and multiple days in the ICU his medical bills will be outrageous.
