Rockwall Teacher Needs Your Help

For 13 years Janet Byrom has taught the children of Rockwall how to read, how to be kind to one another and how to fall in love with learning!  Janet is a beloved first grade teacher at Pullen Elementary school, a loving wife of 30 years, a mother to three amazing kids and grandmother to the light of her life, Addie.  Janet has spent her life pouring love and kindness into our community and today she needs our prayers!

Janet was recently diagnosed with one of the rarest forms of cancer, synovial sarcoma.  Last Wednesday, doctors amputated her right leg below the knee to stop the spread of the cancer.  The surgery went well and Janet will now begin the long journey of recovery.  The Byroms are a faithful family and know that God is in charge.   Janet’s  deep faith and positive attitude are incredibly inspiring, but those things alone will not help cover the medical bills and many months that Janet will be off work through her recovery.  We ask you today to include this sweet family in your daily prayers and if you are able, to help ease their financial burden with a donation.
