Jane McEachron Stem Cell Transplant for MS

Donation protected
As many of you know our mother, Jane McEachron, has fought Multiple Sclerosis for over 19 years. Each year has progressively gotten worse, however what has kept her in the fight against this horrible disease is her strength, optimism, faith and amazing support system surrounding her (that we will never be able to thank enough). She has always believed that she got this disease to teach herself, and others that life doesn’t always go as planned, but with love, support, and faith we can get through anything.

She is wheelchair bound 95% of the time, and the other 5% is her severely struggling every single day - unsure if she will even be able to get out of her chair to take care of her daily needs. She has tried absolutely everything she can including many medications, long term rehabilitation 3 different times in the last 5 years (which included extensive daily OT and PT), changing her diet, PT and OT at home, and every single recommendation that has come her way. When we say she has never given up, we do not say that lightly. Absolutely nothing has worked long term.

We have seen our Mother at rock bottom more times than we’d like to talk about, and there are many times that we believe we all do not admit any of this in fear of people thinking we can’t get through this, or that she will be defined by her struggles - some people see a wheelchair and forget that she is an incredibly intelligent person and her lack of mobility will never take that from her. Even seeing her at her lowest point, we still strongly believe she will make it through this, as does she. Even on her worst days, she has always smiled through it all knowing there is a greater plan for her.

She has been accepted as a candidate for a Stem Cell Transplant for Auto Immune Diseases including Multiple Sclerosis in Spring 2019, which could ultimately change her life as well as ours, completely. It is still a shock that this has even presented itself to us, but we know there is a reason it has, and it is worth EVERY risk and chance that may come with this transplant.

Anyone who knows our mother, knows that she has put every person in her life before herself, and is the most positive person we have ever known. But, at this point this is what she NEEDS for herself. She has so much to look forward to with 3 children, and has much more to live for, and we cannot allow this disease to take anymore of her life away. Her faith in God has kept her going and she strongly believes this is the next step in her life plan.

We greatly appreciate any donations as this is not a cheap procedure. Any amount will help, as we refuse to allow money to be a burden on what could change her entire life. She has been through it all, and it’s time she does something for herself. Thank you in advance from the bottom of our hearts!!!!

If you cannot donate, we completely understand, please just share this post to spread awareness!
