Jamie Peterson is a social worker in Farmington NM. She works for Childhaven treating children with trauma and those in treatment foster care. She has devoted her life to helping children and it is now our community's job to help her as she has helped us. Jamie was recently diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. The cancer has spread to her lymph nodes and liver. She is suffering from internal bleeding from the lesions and will be undergoing surgery and chemotherapy. Jamie is the mother of 2 beautiful children who depend on her for their support. Due to her diagnosis her work hours will be minimal, and the financial burden a strain. We want Jamie to know she is not alone in this fight, she has the care and support of her community behind her. All donations will be given directly to Jamie to assist with all of her financial needs. She is also requesting prayers at this time.
