In Bundaberg on Sunday the 28th of May James Wragge was playing Rugby League for his team Maryborough Brothers against Bundabergs Past Brothers.

During this game he sustained a serious back injury after falling awkwardly in a tackle and breaking his spine. The tackle was legal and there was no missconduct involved, this was just an unfortunate event.

James has been airlifted to a Brisbane hospotal to be assesed and undergo surgery. Details of his injurys are still vague. We will try to keep the community updated on any information we recieve.

The Maryborough Brothers committee members have started this fundraiser to raise money for James, his family, medical expenses and any oncoing recovery costs.

The road to recovery will be long and tough for James and his family.  Any donations small or large will be greatly appreciated by both Maryborough Brothers Rugby League Football Club, James and his family.
