Jake's Funeral Fund

Saturday morning my 20 year old nephew, Jake Bowlsby, was killed by a drunk driver in a car accident when he was on his way to visit a friend in Eugene. This tragedy is unfathomable for our family after losing his cousin, my son Gavynn, just 7 months ago in an accident as well. My already broken heart is even more broken for the loss of this amazing young man but also for my sister Candi, his dad Mark, his brothers Cody and Gabriel and his sister Kait. Those who were lucky enough to know Jake knew that he was incredibly loving, respectful, kind, funny, SO goofy, smart, good looking and charming. I wish the rest of those who don’t know him would have had the chance to. He was by far one of the neatest people I have ever known. No one is ever prepared to lose a child and the burden of the expense can be overwhelming during such a difficult time. We were blessed to have so many people rally together to help us with Gav’s funeral expenses and I would love for us to do the same for Jake’s family. No matter what the donation, big or small, it all helps tremendously. Please lift this family up in your prayers for them to have the strength and grace to get through this.
