Platelet Transfusion for Jainang

Hi, let me introduce you to my very good friend Jainang. She is a beautiful mother of two with a heart of gold. Her addictive smile is cherished by all, her kids and all her friends alike. She has always been the first one to step forward in order to help someone in need. Now she herself is need of her own.
She has tragically been diagnosed with a blood disorder named Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura. For those of you who don’t know what this is, it is an immune system disorder where her immune cells have created antibodies that are overwhelmingly attacking the platelets in her blood. Platelets are the minute protein molecules that help in clotting of blood. In idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP) the body has severe deficiency of platelets. The body produces immune cells that attack the platelets. Any wound would bleed profusely and it can be very dangerous.
Jainang’s recent reports revealed she has 18.000 platelets per mcL, way below the normal range of 150,000 to 450,000 platelets per mcL of blood. Now the good news is there is a treatment available for her disorder. She needs to get a platelet transfusion. However, this treatment is very expensive. No insurance here in Thailand covers the financial burden of this platelets transfusion. Due to minimal resources and very little financial assistance, Jainang is need of your help.
Her condition is very distressing. She is growing weaker and weaker by the day. It is very sad to see a friend who has been such a support to many others and is now in a state such as this. This condition is getting the best of her. She is fighting it. Her strong cheerful smile is giving me hope that help is not far away.
Her entire family and all her friends are desperate for your help. Although she is weak but she is still hopeful for what is to come. That hope has given strength to her kids who are very worried about their sick mother.
I have attached pictures of her. Her glowing smile and cheerful face is truly inspiring. She has always been the person who gave strength to others in their time of need. She and her entire family are praying for the welfare of her health. She has been overburdened and weakened by this illness; but she has not given up. With the help of your donation she will recover and live a long healthy life.
