Jaimie Cox Memorial Fund
Donation protected
On November 5th, Rockford Police officer Jaimie Cox was killed while making a traffic stop. Jaimie was a US Army National Guard veteran and a former officer for the Illinois Department of Natural Resources. He had been serving Rockford for just under a year. Jaimie was a great officer, brother, husband and man. He was just starting the prime years of his life as he and his wife (my sister) were planning their future. This year they celebrated their second wedding anniversary and moved into their first home.
Jaimie leaves behind his wife Caitlin and beloved dog Ruger. Nothing can replace Jaimie in the lives of his loved ones or the impact he had on not just them but everyone. The last thing his wife needs at this time is to worry about her financial situation. Caitlin Cox, Jaimie’s wife, will directly receive all funds donated to this memorial. The money will be used to help support Caitlin. My family and I thank you in advance for your generosity, from the bottom of our hearts.
