Help Us Fundraise for Jailbreak

Donation protected
Update 17/2: We reached our initial goal of £300 pounds for charity! But we want to raise even more for charity, and we know you would love to help us get out of Oxford. We started our journey at 7:45, and you can now track our whereabouts at https://oxford.studentjailbreak.co.uk/teams/16/
(Team Name: Serendipity). Also, check out our competition so we can beat them: https://oxford.studentjailbreak.co.uk/
You can also help pay for our travels so we can raise even more money. So please donate, and donate generously please!

We're 3 Oxford students trying to get as far away from Oxford as we can without spending any money - as part of Oxford SU RAG Jailbreak 2018. On the journey, we'll raise money for charities from benevolent people we meet, who will also help us fund our travels. Because our travels depend on the support of strangers, we won't know where we'll end up or what opportunities will arise. Oh, and we have 36 hours to get out and back to Oxford.

To embark on this serendipitous journey embarking on February 17th, we need to first raise £300 for four different charities. That's where you come in. We need your help! Oxford SU Rag has a goal of raising £15,000 total through this event, and we have every intention of helping them meet their goal.  So open your hearts (and your wallets) and donate generously! We only have until February 12th to raise the funds, so don't hesitate to give!

The charities: Oxfordshire Sexual and Rape Crisis Centre, Education Partnership Africa, Against Malaria Foundation, and Oxford Homeless Pathway

The Team: Aman Gupta, Delphine Ho Thanh, and Esther Kim. Three postgraduate students reading for an MPhil in Development Studies, we represent 6 countries in total. On most days, you'll find us struggling to keep up with readings and figuring out statistics at the Department for International Development. Outside of QEH, we can be seen gallivanting across Oxford at our respective colleges or making trips to the Peak District. Mostly, we just talk about what it means to be a First or Third World country.

If you want to see where we go, you can track our whereabouts during the journey. For anyone interested, we’ll send you our link when it goes live so you can track us in our serendipitous journey!
