Dear Family and Friends,
In March of this year I was accepted into a program at Julliard!!! Julliard is an university for the performing arts. Talents such as Robin Williams and Adam Driver attended the school. I was so excited I burst into tears when my Dad told me. I feel blessed to have such an amazing opportunity to further grow my skills by learning from professionals in New York City.
Acting is a passion of mine that I have had since a young age. However, it's value has changed for me over the years. It allows me to grow mentally and emotional. It has helped me cope with my anxiety and tell my story in ways I never dreamt were possible. During this trip I will be working everyday of the week with small breaks. I will have workshops with professionals, auditions, shows, seminars with talent agents and casting directors, and much more.
While it is a dream, it isn't cheap. I'm hoping to reach out to you for assistance. I'll be in New York for the month of June. During that month I will have to pay for flights, food($35 a day for 21 days), the tuition ($3849), lodging($1680), a metro card($32 a week for 3 weeks), laundry($5 per trip for laundry), towels, hangers, bed sheets and pillows for the bed, toiletries, and more. We need to raise at least $5000 to afford this trip. This amazing opportunity has presented it and I don't want to turn it down. Even 15 dollars is enough to help. I would love for you to become a part of my journey! Thank you for your help!
