Folks, my name is Jackson Grimm.
I'm out here in Asheville, NC - with the Bull Moose Party - trying to record my first album.

The gentlemen I've selected to play on my record come from one of the finest bluegrass bands that Asheville has to offer: The Bull Moose Party. I met all of these guys while we were attending Warren Wilson College together.
The album is comprised of 9 original songs that I have written + 1 cover song. The band provides phenomenally tight vocal harmonies and instrumental dynamics. I'm super stoked that I am recording my first full album with these people who are not only great musicians but also very close friends.

I've been working with Josh Goforth over the past year to really hone my skill on a variety of instruments: voice, guitar, mandolin & banjo. Josh is an amazing musician, performer, AND producer. I'm very excited to have him on board for this project.

Wes runs a fantastic studio in Cana, VA! Some of the high profile recording acts who have used his studio are Tony Rice, JD Crowe, and Doyle Lawson. I highly recommend checking it out if you're thinking of doing any recording in the near future...

Calder is a local artist and also a Warren Wilson alum. I'm very excited that he will be creating the artwork for the album, t-shirts & stickers. Calder works with many mediums and I was immediately drawn to the ethereal yet realistic nature of his work. Here is a link to his website: https://caldergladstone.com
And last but certainly not least, my wonderful partner Marley Fischer (also a Warren Wilson alum) is going to help me in almost every aspect of this album. She will be helping with the layout of the artwork and text on the album cover, and she will probably be listening to my songs at least a couple (thousand) times as we go through this recording process.... :)
The Budget:
