Jacki Barnes Memorial Cancer Fund
Tax deductible
On December 19th, 2016, Jacalyn Adams Barnes lost her life to a five year struggle with Endometrial Cancer. While normally curable, her particular case resisted all forms of treatment available to her.
Jacki was a strong, vibrant soul who brought joy to those around her. Even in her final moments, she struggled hard against the disease, and always maintained her signature Brooklyn attitude. In the spirit of her indomitable personality, we, her Family, have decided to establish this fundraiser to keep her fight going.
Jacki was being treated at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. MSKCC is one of the best rated cancer facilities in the United States. To contribute to MSK's future efforts, and as thanks for all they did for my Mother, we are trying to raise $1,000 as a charitable donation.
We believe that no one else should ever have to go through what our family had to endure. Through the efforts of this fundraiser, we hope to help move one step closer to a cancer free world.
