US Olympic Field Hockey Hopeful

Hello,
My name is Jack Gallucci and I am from Trumbull, CT. Whenever I tell someone that I play field hockey, I get the same reaction every time, a puzzled look on their face. In the United States, field hockey is a female dominated sport. However, in most other countries, field hockey is a male dominated sport. Four years ago I picked up a stick for the first time and instantly fell in love. For the past four years I have tirelessly worked to become the best player I can be. Although I still have a long way to go, I was recently selected to the USA U19 Men's National Squad. This team offers the highest level of hockey this country has to offer, as well as competing against other countries.
As you may guess, this incredible experience does not come without a price. National Team practices are primarily held at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, California. Because of frequent training sessions throughout the year, transportation and lodging can be very costly.
I would love to be able to represent the USA, it is my dream to wear the red, white and blue while playing in an Olympic hockey match. It is amazing to see my dream starting to become a reality. Any little bit helps, and I am extremely grateful for any support throughout my journey.
