Jack Needs New Wheels

Jack was born with a medical condition called Microcephaly.

Microcephaly is a condition which prevents the growth of the skull stunting the growth and development of the brain. Jack also has global development delay and Epilepsy due to the lack of brain development.

We are trying to raise money to get Jack a much needed new wheelchair as he grew out of his current chair a while ago. He often gets frustrated in his current chair as he clearly finds it uncomfortable.

Jack spends a lot of his day in his chair due to him being unable to walk. He is also fed via a feeding tube which requires him to be sat in his chair three times a day for 40 minutes at a time.

Jacks wheelchair is his only mode of transportation when we are out and about on family trips so it's important that it's comfortable for him to travel in. 

Jack needs special adaptations putting on his new chair due to his medical condition and problems with his muscle tone. As a consequence the chair is more expensive than we first ever imagined it would be.

We are hoping to reach our funding goal as soon as possible to give Jack a shiny new comfortable ride.
