Hello! My name is Micheal. I am an artist and I also am deaf. My first mission trip to Haiti was in November 2014 and I immediately fell in love with the Haitian people; especially the Deaf Community in the Village of Leveque. I received my ASL Certification in May 2014 and am now able to communicate with the Deaf Community thru American Sign Language and Creole Signing. Since then I have gone back to Haiti several times and to Nicaragua last May 2017 Breaking Thru the Silence.org 
. On my mission trips I distributed the water filters, medical, educational and more to the deaf communities to help them have better and healthy lives.
I have started a nonprofit organization called "Breaking Thru the Silence" Ministering with the Deaf in 2015. Our four goals we hope to accomplish through our ministry to the Deaf Community are enlightenment, empowerment, education and employment. Our organization is small but our heart is huge as we loved working and serving with the deaf. Thank you for your support in making these missions possible.
