American Idol Journey

Donation protected

"All I've ever wanted to do was sing"

 Im so blessed and happy to say that i am now on the American idol journey again.  From the news story on wkow, to all the amazingly talented people ive met so far and all the love from family/friends, has truly made this a dream come true. Im unable to give out a lot of detail at this point in the competition, but the next audition requires me to travel almost 10hrs from my hometown. It is not until later in the competion that expenses would be paid for.  This is where i need YOUR HELP!  Any little bit helps and every dollar will go toward hotel, travel and all other expenses during this next step.  There is no way of knowing how long we will be there because the competion can be very sporadic at times. They definitely try to keep us on our toes!!  Thank you for all your donations, sharing and support in all this. I'm going to do my very best . It's my passion, and you all are my drive.
Thank you

* MUSICAL BACKGROUND

So we asked Julica-
How many instruments do you play?

"Music is in my Genes. The majority of my family can sing/dance/ play instruments.  I play guitar, piano, drums, congas and a little bit of bass.

    Her grandmother (Barbara Hadley) and Great Uncle (Ramond Hadley) played in a band called the Kickapoo Hillbillies. They won talent competitions and were well known for their ability to entertain. The majority of her cousins, aunts, and uncles sing and play instruments. Her great-grandfather (Merle Hadley) was well known for building violins out of old cigar boxes.  Julica's father is a blues/soul/ funk musician who once was the bass player of a band called Jakki. They were very succesful hitting the top ten on the Billboards back in the 70's.

In 2008, she made it to Hollywood (Top 70) on Season 8 of American Idol.  Her first band, Pennysack , opened for Foghat and Jimmy Van Zant.  She has also opened for Thompson Square, played for many festivals, fundraisors, benefits, weddings and the list goes on!
