After years of battling ephazema and COPD, my dear mom Valery has passed, at the young age of only 66. Living most of her life on ODSP and OAS, she didn't exactly have much money.
With very little immediate family, the funeral costs will be very diffucult to cover.
her and I are both proud people and have trouble asking for help, but unfortunately there isn't much choice during this difficult time.
For those of you who were close to her, I or the family, her wishes were to be cremated and to not have a service.
Every little bit will go a long way in helping out with the unfortunate costs of the passing of a loved one.
